November 23/09   50 Cent's Condom Plan Breaks
50 Cent
We all know that 50 Cent is the king of branding and launching new lines of products but it looks like the long-awaited "50 Cent" condom will not be coming out. According to the G-Unit leader himself, the deal fell through because he wanted to add stuff that simply wouldn't work. "I was looking for the opportunity to create a new safe sex campaign. The Wrap It Up campaign is something that is used so often, it wasn't effective anymore. So I thought this is a great opportunity for me to get involved. But it just didn't work out because I wanted things in it that wouldn't work. I wanted things that would prolong sexual performance. You could just put it on and just go."

Other reports say that 50 Cent wanted to add chemicals to his condom line but it couldn't be done. According to TheHotHits, 50 Cent wanted to increase pleasure in the bedroom by creating condoms with chemicals that would boost male performance. But unfortunately for 50, chemicals and latex don't seem to mix. [50 Cent - Interview With Travis Smiley - Watch Here]

November 20/09   50 Cent Talks Possible Low Album Sales
50 Cent
With reports saying that his new "Before I Self Destruct" album will only push around 160,000 units in it's first week of sales, 50 Cent is now talking about the potential of one of his albums not doing well. "With the actual outcome of the project, once the record leaks from the international plant, what more can I do," 50 explained. "I can't, I held the record long enough to get it to them, to mix and master it and for them to ship it and then it leaks from the plant internationally, I'm like come on, then that's it. They lost the ball. You know what I mean, if the numbers look funny to me, it's they fault." [50 Cent Talks About Low Album Sales - Watch Here]

In another interview, 50 talked about the new reports coming out, and event hinted that the album that came out isn't the one he wanted. "I don’t actually know what to anticipate from the actual sales of this project," 50 said, "It’s obvious, the project just came out a month earlier than what was actually anticipated. The actual project is arguably my best work, to have the general public respond the way they’ve responded to it."

50 finished by saying he thinks he made the right choices. "I haven’t heard anything negative about my choices artistically, so if I was in the space where I absolutely needed finances from the actual sales of the record, it might mean something, but if it offers the material that I can go out and perform and make everyone enjoy themselves as much as I enjoyed myself making it, Ill be happy with it." November 20/09   50 Takes Rick Ross Son To Floyd Mayweather's House
50 Cent
50 Cent recently talked about why he decided to publicly expose his relationship with Rick Ross ex-girlfriend and his son last weekend. The G-Unit leader, who took officer Ricky's Tia Kemp and her son to Floyd Mayweather's Nevada mansion, says Rick Ross crossed the line first. "When you're actually competing as an artist, there's boundaries that I wouldn't cross myself, personally, until the other artists are passing those boundaries" Fif explained in an interview. "There was a point where Rick had took my son's picture, they cut a picture of my son out and put it on top of a monkey. And at that point, the parameters changed. So it's like, nothing's off limits at that point and outside of that, that wasn't meant to be a vicious event." [50 Cent Talks About Rick Ross Crossing The Line First - Watch Here]

50 explains it's not a big deal. "It was more me wanting to get a chance to meet the kid. Tia told me she wanted to bring the boys out and meet up and talk, I was actually in Florida, Miami, on a promo tour. Because my touring schedule was so hectic at that point, I couldn't meet the baby. So I had them bring him out to Las Vegas, I felt they'd actually enjoy themselves and they did enjoy themselves and they got a chance to see the Cotto-Pacquiao fight, they came over to Floyd's house, they met Puffy...It was cool. I think if Rick had more communications with his son's mom and helped out a little more, then he would be aware of those situations prior to them actually happening."     Although Lil Wayne hinted that they were considering packaging his new upcoming "Rebirth" album, the follow-up to his "Tha Carter 3," with the compilation from his Young Money label artists, "We Are Young Money," sources at Universal Records have confirmed the albums will hit stores separate. Young Money consists of Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Mack Maine, Gudda Gudda, Tyga, Jae Millz, Shanell, Lil Chuckee, and Lil Twist and the new album will feature guest appearances by Gucci Mane, Lloyd, Pleasure P and Baby.     Lil Wayne's "Rebirth" album, once being considered Weezy's "Rock" album, will have appearances from Fall Out Boy and even Lenny Kravitz. Both albums from Cash Money slash Young Money will have tough competition as they hit stores on the same day as Eminem's upcoming re-release "Relapse: Refill" on December 21st.
