ESPN will be highlighting the friendship between heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson and rapper Tupac Shakur in a documentary titled "One Night in Vegas", which is part of the series 30 for 30.
The documentary will specifically look at the friendship and last night the two spent together in Las Vegas on September 7th, 1996. Tupac, who actually walked the explosive heavyweight into the ring, was in attendance when Tyson knocked out Bruce Seldon in the first round, and was planning on attending an after party with the boxer. Video even shows Tupac running up for a celebatory hug after the victory.
The documentary will be directed by Reggie "Rock" Bythewood who cowrote Notorious and will air on September 7th, 2010, exactly 14 years to the date of his shooting, which left him in the hospital ICU for 6 days before passing away on September 13, 1996.
