50 Cent's next acting role will reportedly be in the upcoming "Freelancers" film, directed by Jessy Terrero of "Soul Plane" fame.  In the second of his infamous 10-picture $200 million dollar deal with Lionsgate...
“[Curtis] Jackson will portray the son of a slain NYPD officer who joins the force and is welcomed by his father’s former partner into the ranks of his vice crime task force—and on to a team of rogue Gotham cops. Filming begins March 28 in Grand Rapids, Mich. The Film was written by Phillipe Cassius.” (Dave McNary of Variety)
Already having acted in movies like "Twelve," "Righteous Kill" (with Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino) and "13" (with Jason Statham and Mickey Rourke), 50 Cent also has five other films currently in pre-production including "Things Fall Apart," the role he lost over 50 pounds to play.

In related news, the first film in 50 Cent's 10-picture deal recently finished up principal photography. "Setup," featuring actors Bruce Willis and Ryan Phillippe (and 50 Cent of course), is described as "a group of friends become involved in a potentially deadly diamond heist."
