50 Cent Lands Role In New Film

    50 Cent has signed on for role in the upcoming movie "Twelve," according to Variety. The new film, directed by Joel Schumacher (Batman and Robin), is an adaptation of Nick McDonell's novel of the same name. Following the life of rich high school drop out turned drug dealer who deals with the murder of his cousin allegedly by his best friend.

    The G-Unit general will share the big screen with the start of the hit television show "24," Kiefer Sullivan, Ellen Barken, Rory Culkin and Chace Crawford. The new film will start production on April 20th in New York and is expected to hit theaters in the winter of 2010.

    In related news, 50 Cent was recently replaced in an upcoming Sylvester Stallone movie. Last week Stalone said he was replacing Forrest Whitaker with the G-Unit leader but now another report says that Rocky will be using Terry Crews instead. The movie in question will hit theaters next year and also star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
