Update: 50 Cent Not Clear Of Arson Charges

As we previously reported, earlier this week 50's own website reported that "the police department and insurance investigators ruled that there is
absolutely no proof or evidence suggesting that Curtis Jackson or any
affiliated parties were involved [in the fire]. Curtis Jackson has just
been cleared of all the accusations. The investigation will continue
until the guilty party is found," but the local commanding officer says that simply isn't true.
In a new interview, the commanding officer of the Suffolk County Police Department's arson squad disagreed with 50 Cent's website post saying the rapper isn't out of the woods yet. "The investigation is still ongoing," Detective Lieutenant James Rooney
told MTV. "I don’t know where they got that information, but our case
is still open and ongoing."
