50 & G-Unit Hold 40 Day Block Party

Although there were tons of security complications and scheduling conflicts, 50 Cent and his G-Unit crew was able to pull of his 40 Day Block Party in Queens and the rapper even plans to do it again next year. "I ain't never seen this before, that's the motherf*cking police, you see them up there, now everybody wave," 50 told fans during the Saturday (September 26) celebration. "You might as well come down and party with us, because we're not giong to be doing anything else... I see a lot of familiar faces I ain't seen in awhile. Next year I'm gonna get to do it on the actual date that I want, when they see this as a successful event they won't give me such a hard time next time." Without any real promotion, over 2,500 people showing up to the 50 Cent/ G-Unit-sponsored event. With word-of-mouth being the main way people found out about the show, even Lloyd Banks said he didn't know about it until 3am the day of.
