"I went to the studio in LA and Polow [da Don] had already sampled his favorite part from 'I Get Money' in to the actual record," Fif explained in an interview. "And what's interesting, in hip-hop, we sample music a lot is traditional, but to sample our own lyrics? You know, it just felt like it was something new and I wrote something that was a little more sexual. There was an option to write love on a record, but that was kinda reserved for LL Cool J."
