50 Cent Writes/Directes/Produces/Stars In Movie, Prepares Album With Eminem/Dr Dre

    50 Cent is preparing to release his fourth major album that includes a dvd of a movie that he wrote, directed, produced and even stared in, both called "Before I Self Destruct." For the new album, 50 worked closely with Dr. Dre and Eminem, as he did with his first album. Emiinem and Dr. Dre both not only produce tracks for the new ablum, they also make guest appearances. The first single "Get Up" [listen here] is produced by Scott Storch.

    50 wrote the film 'Before I Self Destruct' at the same time as his album. "My film captures the harsh realities that reflect so many communities today. There will be some who will greatly identify with the characters and the situations presented and then there will be others who may be shocked at the struggles that go on in the inner city,” states 50 Cent. "I made the film for both groups."

    50 Has had a great past with his albums. His debut 2003's "Get Rich Or Die Tryin" sold 872,000 units in the first four days, making it the fastest selling debut disc in history. Since it's release, the album has sold more than 12 million copies. In 2005 50 put out "The Massacre" which again dubted #1 and was teh second biggest-selling album of the year. To Date the album has sold more than 9 million copies. Last year, 50's "Curtis" sold more than 5 million copies and three tracks were in the top 40.
