50 Cent Inks Major Film Deal; Stars in The Gun with Val Kilmer

    50 Cent's movie company Cheeta Vision Films has inked a deal with Action Jackson Films to produce and finance 3-5 major films a year.

    The first planned movie is titled The Gun which was written by 50 himself. The movie will start 50 Cent and Val Kilmer (Batman, The Doors, Heat). Shooting will begin next month in Grand Rapids, Michigan with Jesse Terro directing.

    The topics stay familiar to 50 with The Gun revolving around friends who are involved in the underground world of gun dealing. The Gun is the first of three feature movies that 50 has already written.
"When you write a song, you need to say it in three minutes or it is overkill, but I like creating stories and going in depth with characters,"
    50 and Cheetah Vision's next project after The Gun will be a familiar drama, Jekyll and Hyde which will star Forest Whitaker.
