G-Unit‘s DJ, DJ Whoo Kid recently talked about the status of G-Unit members 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks being friends again or working together. Whoo Kid admits there are problems but tries to say they are not as big of problems as many think it is.
“I mean I don’t even know man, I tried to like talk to them. Fif says he hasn’t heard from him, I don’t know man. They’re supposed to be cool, I don’t think there are any major problems. From what I know, they’re cool. They were all at Chris Lighty’s funeral. You will hear it from him (50). He will give you the view points on Banks and the whole situation with the Unit. But from what I know, they’re cool. But 50 will let you know and explains the situation better.” (HHNM)
Fifty was on the Angie Martinez Show back in September and updated fans on how the G-Unit‘s doing.
“I see [Tony] Yayo all the time. He actually comes through — he’ll pop up. We’ll do that, but away from it when we come home I be busy working on something and they supposed to be doing the music, writing the music,” 50 told Ang. “Now it’s like I think I’ve enabled them. I’ve damaged that by being so close to it that they just go. Their way of dealing with things is not dealing with it so you can have people that work for you who you work for because they’re just waiting for you to do it. Or you don’t say anything and there’s no urgency — I don’t talk to them. We’re still friends, it’s just the relationship is different. We grown – the issues came up where that they feel like it’s hard for them to be the man while I’m around.” (The Angie Martinez Show”)
