Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson plans on being more involved in the movies than just acting in his semi-autobiographical movie “Get Rich or Die Trying” that hit the movie screens this week. In a converstaion with journalists from around the country on Monday, he informed members of the press that he has recently signed a deal with Sony Pictures where he will be developing and producing movies.

“In the future if I come across a screenplay that affects me as much as my life story I will commit to it,” 50 explained. The former drug dealer turned worldwide super celebrity has also just released a video game “BulletProof” which a long with a solo album, the sound track to the movie, a book and another look at the multi-platinum sellers life in “Refuse to Die”, the unofficial auto-biography has to make him one of the hardest working performers this year. However 50 also explained that next year he plans on taking a little more time to work with his fellow G-Uniteers on their up and coming albums.

“As far as my music I am going to fall back a little bit because I have been finding difficulty getting my other artists up and into a good space music wise because my popularity is overshadowing their talent. I just need to let them kind of get their music off before I come out with something new.”
