50 Cent’s G-Unit Books Signs Author Meta Smith
Smith, dubbed the "Queen of Bling Fiction," was signed to G-Unit book division due to the success of her previous novels, which were released by Warner Books.
"50 Cent has commissioned me to bring you a hot novella reppin' the streets and so I'm bringing you Heaven's Fury in November 2007," Smith said. "It's all about a good girl who turns bad, once she finds herself caught in the middle of a bloody drug war."
The book is set in Smith's hometown of Chicago and Gary, Indiana.
Meta Smith, who also doubles as a Chicago DJ, has appeared in dozens of Hip-Hop videos.
She joins other street lit artists like Nikki Turner, Relentless Aaron, Noire and others as authors on G-Unit Books.
In July, Smith is also planning to release an anthology called These Are My Confessions, which Smith labeled "a collection of sizzling Hip-Hop erotica" that features Cheryl Robinson, Electa Rome Parks and Joy King.
