Akon Gets Animated, Allows Fans To Create Videos

Akon will become the latest artist to get in the cartoon business. The Grammy nominated singer teamed up with GoAnimate.com to allow users the ability to compete for a chance to make an animated video for Akon. "GoAnimate.com gives Akon fans the chance to actively interact with one another," GoAnimate.com executive Stone Newman said in a statement.
In related news, Akon recently plead guilty to harassment for his involvment in an incident where he tossed a fan off stage. The Konvict singer
will reportedly not serve time, rather 65 hours of community service
and pay a $250 fine. Akon did face endangering the welfare of a minor
and second-degree harassment.
