Beastie Boys MCA Gets Cancer

Beastie Boys member "MCA" has announced that he has cancer, which he says is treatable. The longtime member of the legendary group says he was diagnosed last weeek as having a cancerous tumer in his left parotid (salivary) glad but it was caught early and is localized in one area.
The cancer will require surgery and several weeks of additional treatement but thankfully is not in a location that will affect his vocal chords. Due to the news, The Beastie Boys have canceled all upcoming concerts to give him time to recover. Their upcoming "Hot Sauce Committe Part 1" album has also been pushed back.
