Flesh-N-Bone, of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has made a major financial move that could be considered quite controversial. The Cleveland, OH native has revealed that he has developed his own strain of cannabis, which he plans to market and distribute to major marijuana dispensaries in the United States.
According to a report by TMZ, the rapper has named this new strain of weed, “Phifty Caliber Kush”, a strain developed for pain relief. The plan is to market and distribute this unique strain nationally.
The rapper has already made plans to sell the strain at a dispensary in Flint, Michigan, and has projections to expand to states like California, Colorado and Washington.
His plans not only include the selling of the bud, but the seeds as well.
As of yet there has been no indication of the controversy that will surely follow. Though controversial there are those that look at the endeavor as a bold business move that will allow the rapper to secure his financial future. With this particular industry growing in America and the likely hood of more states legalizing marijuana use for the purpose of pain relief in terminal patients, there is definitely room for growth in the industry.
At this time there has been no official statement from the rapper outside of the report from TMZ, but we will definitely keep our ear open as will a number of other people in the industry. As you know this industry moves on trends, let’s see who follows.
