As previously reported, Busta Rhymes recently left Aftermath and signed a deal with Universal Motown. If you are waiting for Busta's much anticipated album "B.O.M.B. (Back On My Bullshit)" you will have to wait even longer. Originally scheduled for December, Busta's album has been pushed back to March of 2009.
Despite leaving Dr. Dre's Aftermath Records, Busta says he is still cool with Dre saying "Me and Dre are still good," Busta said in a recent interview on Hot 97, continuing "So even though I'm not in business with Aftermath or Interscope, I'm still with Aftermath. Me and Dre are always gonna be good."
Busta's first single from the upcoming album is called "Arab Money" [listen here]. While at Interscope, Busta released the singles "We Made It" [watch/listen here] featuring Linkin Park and "Dont Touch Me (Throw Da Water On Em)" [watch/listen here]. Of the two songs Busta says "Big up to Interscope for, you know, giving me the leaked joints and the set-ups," he added. "Now we gonna consider those the leaked joints."
