Chamillionaire Unloads His Major Pain

Posted By on February 5, 2010

Houston's own Chamillionaire is giving what his fans want, new music, in the form of an 18-track mixtape called "Major Pain." After many issues with his label dealing with his next LP "Venom," Cham is taking it back to the mixtape game. "I felt it was time to take it back to the original grind that made these major companies pay attention in the first place. I don't think there is any reason why any artist with real knowledge of independent hustle, should sit and wait for any major system to work for them, BUT, because I am signed to a major recording label, there are still a lot of things that I would like to be able to do, that I'm not really allowed to do. Politics in this business often stand between a creative mind and the grind but I'm gonna try my best to feed my fans without getting into too much trouble." Listen to six (6) new songs from the mixtape below!

In related news, Chamillionaire and Paul Wall recently announced a joint tour kicking off with a South By Southwest (SXSW) headlining show in Austin on March 17th. The tour will hit cities like Flagstaff, Las Vegas, Tucson, Phoenix, Anaheim, Ventura, Los Angeles, Tulsa, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Denver, Albuquerque, Billings and Boise with more confirmed dates to be announced.
