When it comes to rapper Chief Keef it seems that he has become a trouble magnet in the most intense way. If something can go wrong for him, it seems to be happening in duplicate. If being arrested and detained for probation violations stemming from a 2011 aggravated assault case was not enough. The rapper has become associated with the death of 16 year old rapper Lil Jo Jo. Keef’s step-brother was murdered; shot in the back of the head, and now the rapper is facing additional legal troubles.
Team Major, a Washington D.C. based promotion company has hit the rapper with a $75,000 lawsuit stemming from a no-show in which Keef was booked to do a show at the Indigo 02 Arena in London on December 29, 2012, but the rapper did not show and apparently did not provide an explanation of why he did not show up for the booked engagement.
Neither the Rapper nor his record label have issued an official statement or explanation of why Keef missed the booking. Neither has there been a response concerning the lawsuit itself.
Chief Keef was scheduled to appear before a judge today (January 17, 2013) for sentencing for probation violations. Further details on the sentencing forthcoming.
