An article written several days ago referred to young rapper Chief Keef as a trouble magnet, subsequent issues continue to rise bringing validation to that moniker. According to a report by TMZ, the embattled rapper, who is currently incarcerated after being found guilty for violating his probation which stemmed from an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge in 2011, is being sued for child support by a Middle School Student whose age has not been disclosed.
Since his incarceration reports have surfaced that he has been linked to the death of one minor. His step-brother was fatally shot is the head. He was sued for a “no show” by a promotion company that booked him for a show in London.
Because the young girl is a minor, her age was not disclosed, but in the documents filed it is recorded that she was in middle school at the time she became pregnant, meaning that she was at the most, in the eighth grade. Based on a rarely prosecuted statute on Illinois books, both of the minors could be charged with “illegal sex abuse”. According to the law, anyone between the ages of 9-17 having sex can be charged with a misdemeanor and could face a sentence of up to 1 year in jail. This is highly unlikely because these cases have not been historically prosecuted.
The child support suit is asking for financial reimbursement for financial expenditures, health insurance and other health related expenses. This is just one more blow in a building list of legal problems for the young rapper.
