Chris Brown Disses Drake on Young Jeezy’s R.I.P. Remix

By now everyone in Hip Hop & R&B knows about the relational strain between Chris Brown and Drake. Following a rather intense altercation, one that has been classified as a brawl by many, in a New York City night club last summer, the tension, at one point, was thought to be subsiding. It was in this brawl that bottles were thrown and people were injured, including the San Antonio Spurs star point guard Tony Parker, who was hit in the eye by the flying glass and debris. Parker among others sued the club owners, who asserted that both, Drake and Brown should be responsible for the financial damages.

There was also an ensuing criminal investigation on the matter.

The latest shot comes days after Chris Brown declared that he was moving past the beef. Brown took an opportunity to take a shot at Drake during his feature moment on Young Jeezy’s R.I.P. in which Brown, who occasionally ventures into the rap arena fired away, referencing Drake’s single “Started From the Bottom”.

Brown spit, “Dearly departed, I bought a plane I departed/ And if you started from the bottom, go on and come out the closet,”

Brown seems to be intent on compiling an impressive list of entertainment enemies. It was earlier this year that Brown was reported in an altercation with R&B singer Frank Ocean over a parking sport and a refused handshake. Though some believe this is all about publicity, it will still have a huge number of fans waiting to see the outcome.
