Rick Rubin Helps The Clipse Casket Drop

Rick Rubin will step in and produce multiple tracks for the upcoming Clipse album titled "Till The Casket Drops." The Clipse were signed by Rick Rubin shortly after he took over as the label's co-chairman back in 2007. "Kinda Like A Big Deal," produced by DJ Khalil, is the first single from the upcoming album. Although Kanye West is featured on the first single, not many details for "Till The Casket Drops" have been released.
In related news, Columbia Records has laid off several of it's staff members lincluding president of urban music Kyambo "hip hop" Joshua and marketing executive, Al Branch. Rick Rubin, legendary producer and co-founder of Def Jam is currently the co-chairman of Columbia Records.
