Common has become the latest rapper to be hit with a copyright lawsuit. The suit, which was filed yesterday (July 13th), states that Common stole the song "When Will The Day Come" in his "Take It EZ" track. This doesn't totally make as Common gives credit to Andrew Marks and London McDaniels, who are now suing him. Stating "contains samples from: When Will The Day Come," the downloadable version I guess doesn't pay.
In related news, Common recently performed with Talib Kweli in Washington, D.C. [watch here] Part of the the Rock The Bells tour, Talib even performed along side his Reflection Eternal partner Hi-Tek [watch here]
