Mr Porter sat down to talk to us about the site & what he is doing, here is what he had to say…

"I always try to think outside of the box and often defy the 'norm'. It seems that only a handful of people like this exist. It is my desire to reach up & coming artists and producers to provide a blueprint of my version of Hip Hop.

The music you hear on this site are tracks that I've held close and didn't want to part with, until now. I believe they are works that can be turned into great songs.

I am inspired by Stephon Maybury and Ben Wallace in the way they  'give back' by providing affordable, high quality athletic shoes that inner city kids can afford. This site is my way of 'giving back' to aspiring artists and producers by providing the opportunity to get quality, professional beats, for demo use, at affordable rates. It is solely for this reason that I desire to do this, not for greed or selfish gain. I am not in a position where I need to sell my soul.

In my opinion, majority of the music executives and 'music machines' that distribute our 'properties' are not built for 'us', the artists who create the product, to succeed. It primarily benefits their pockets. This dynamic needs to change.  These foundations should be fit to carry on legacies, especially that of Hip Hop. This is a new way of doing things and I'm not afraid of change."
