Damon Dash was recently cleared of assault allegations made by the mother of his fourteen year old son, Linda Williams.
According to the New York Post, Williams claimed that Dash attacked and smacked her when they met over their son at a public park in uptown NYC. Dash denied the charge and said he was just trying to remove his son from her grip.
The judge presiding over the case sided with Dash, stating that the 35 year old mogul didn’t intend to inflict any violence upon Williams.
Dash and Williams have been to court on different occasions fighting for custody of their son.
In related news, Dash partnered with Koch Records last month for his Damon Dash Music Group. The label’s first release will be the new album by dancehall artist Sizzla. Sizzla’s album, entitled The Overstanding, is due this summer.
