Co-Founder of Def Jam Records, slash creator of the Phat Farm clothing line, Russell Simmons recently did an interview for an upcoming new book called "The First 25 Years of Def Jam Records." During his interview, Russell speaks about when he first met hit producer and music pioneer Rick Rubin (known then as DJ Double R) who was a member of the Beastie Boys at the time.
