As the 10th Anniversary Show for Dipset approaches, Juelz Santana has indicated that the show will not be the only reunion for the group. He says that the group will definitely be heading into the studio to work on a new project. He says that depending on how that turns out as far as chemistry and the quality of the music, an album could be forthcoming later this year.
It was during a recent interview with Hip Hop Since 1987, that the rapper spoke up about the pending project.
“We definitely going to get back in the studio and start working on some music and if the vibe is good and the music is coming out the way it’s supposed to come out. We going to put that record out,” Juelz said.
According to Santana, the group is looking to produce something close to “Diplomatic Immunity”, which was their first release back in 2003.
Juez also took the time to speak about Dipset’s upcoming anniversary show on the 25th of this month.
“It’s always good to be on stage with Cam and Jim,” he said. “When you get on stage everything falls into place, everything feels good. I didn’t know 10 years went by so fast though, that’s a beautiful thing for us to be pushing that 10th Anniversary of Dipset, I’m proud of that. We set real high standards out there for crews so it’s a good thing.”
