DJ AM is following Travis Barker's footsteps by filing his own lawsuit over the two artists infamous plane crash in South Carolina [details here]. AM filed a lawsuit this afternoon in L.A. against the estates of the two pilots (who both died in the crash), Clay Lacy Aviation, Global Exec Aviation, Inter Travel & Services Inc, Learjet, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.

Stating the pilots both knew tires had blown on the plane, the suit claims "the plane overshot the runway and burst into flames," the lawsuit is similar to that of his fellow TRVSDJAM band member, Travis Barker. Barker previously filed a lawsuit [deatils here] for $25,000 against the same parties. DJ AM is seeking payment for pain and suffering, lost earnings, property damage, past and future medical and health-related expenses, and punitive damages.
