DJ Khaled Cut Tracks Because He Had No Choice

Hit producer and President of Def Jam south, DJ Khaled recently talked about making changes to his upcoming "Victory" album, the same album that contains a comeback record from newly freed rapper Shyne. "Ninety percent of that track listing is so real," Khaled said of a recent track listing leak. "I can tell u this, [the album] is getting even bigger. But just know the ones you read on that track listing that you hoping are on the Victory album, I can say this; God is soooo goood! VICTORY coming soon! Put it this way, I took three records off because I had no choice. [The album] got bigger if you know what I mean! A classic is being made! I make hit records! Every record is a single on this album classic I do it for the people! Ha, ha, ha, we the best! Victory coming soon! Happy Holidays! And Happy New Year! We the best season has returned! 2010 let's go!" [DJ Khaled ft Usher, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross & Drake - "Fed Up" Video - Watch Here]

In related news, DJ Khaled recently defended Ace Hood after the rapper
released two albums that sold very few records, failing to break the
100k mark. The new President of Def Jam South says the Ace Hood is one of the top grossing newcomers of the last few years. "A lot of people don’t know, Ace Hood is one of the most selling new rap artists," Khaled
says. "It’s hard to sell a lot of records these days; that’s what they
sayin’, right? But at the same time, if I look at other new rap artists
that came out in the last two years, like new artists on his level, he
sold more." Beyond sales, DJ Khaled thinks Ace Hood will become a star soon enough. "It’s not even like that with me," he said about Ace’s SoundScan figures. "It’s about making Ace into a superstar, which he is gonna be, one of the big superstars in the game." [DJ Khaled Talks Ace Hood & More - Watch Here]
