DMX Sentenced To 6 Months For Parole Violation

Well it looks like that album we have all been waiting for from DMX will have to wait a little longer as the troubled rapper has been sentenced to six months in jail after he violated the terms of his probation earlier this month. According to TMZ, during the hearing, a rep for the Pasadena Recovery Center gave the judge a letter from Dr Drew Pinsky, asking permission to treat DMX at his hospital, in stead of jail.
"Of course it is unfortunate and painful to see Earl incarcerated, as there are a lot of rumors and lies surfacing regarding the details of his personal and professional state," DMX's lawyer said in an interview. "However, thank God for a great team--family, friends, pastors and doctors. Collectively, I am excited to say that X's team is putting forth every effort to ensure the success of Earl's health and career. We appreciate the support of his fans. Please stay prayerful, as X will return."
