DMX Avoids Jail Time

    Earl Simmons, better known to all of us as DMX, dodged jail time today (June 8th) after he appeared in court to face the felony attempted assault from an incident earlier this year while serving time in an Arizona prison. Although he won't have to serve any time, DMX will have to pay some fines and serve time on probation.

    A local judge decided to give DMX a break after he plead guilty to felony attempted aggravated assault a few weeks ago. Earl Simmons was accused of verbally threatening guards at Tent City back in February. DMX was sentenced to eighteen months of probation, fines and fees plus given credit for time served.
