DMX appeared in a Phoenix courtroom yesterday (9/29) to face the bench warrant issued for missing his last court appearance. Only appearing in court less than two minutes, the rapper "appeared fidgety" as he stood before the judge who ordered him back in court on October 7th for a status conference.
DMX faces four counts of drug paraphernalia and one count of marijuana possession plus a felony theft charge and his existing animal cruelty charges. “I said it before and I’ll say it again, this guy is treating our legal system like a revolving door,” Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said in a statement. “This is an outrage. Is it because of his notoriety that he is continuously released by the courts? It is about time the revolving door stop and the cell door close." DMX is being held on a $25,000 cash only bond.
