Dr. Dre says its been 14 years since he has last seen a royalty check for the classic album, "The Chronic" and its time to get paid. So this week Dr. Dre filed a federal lawsuit against Death Row Records parent company WIDEawake which bought Death Row records last year after a bankruptcy.
Some might think Dre was scared to file a lawsuit before when the boss was Suge Knight. But now that he is out of the picture Dre is going to get what he deserves.
In the lawsuit Dre states that he stopped receiving royalty checks from Death Row after he cut ties and left in '96. Dre is mad that he hasnt seen any money from the new rereleases of The Chronic (dubbed The Chronic Re-Lit) plus numerous other Death Row albums he produced on.
