Dr Dre recently talked about the time he takes to craft his music, saying sometimes the delay is due to his need for perfection. Dre says he puts a lot of emphasis on the final sound of his production. "Yeah, I mean, if I spend a year in the studio working hard late nights and what have you and I put all this time into tweaking [my production] and making sure it sounds right, my main concern is for you to hear it the way it should sound," Dre explained in an interview. "The way I meant for you to hear it. And also, not even just my music, I wanna be able to hear my favorite artists like the way they would like me to hear it."     In related news, Dre's partner Jimmy Iovine recently talked about his "Beats by Dre" series of headphones and laptops as he discussed his production. "Sound is the heartbeat of music," Iovine told MTV News about their latest collabo. "And Dre is the heartbeat of sound. He set the standard for many, many people." Also this month, Beats by Dr. Dre is set to release a Lady Gaga-inspired line of headphones called Heartbeats. [Jimmy Iovine Talks About Beats By Dre - Watch Here]
