One Man Killed, Another Seriously Injured At Dr Dre Book Party
Authors Bruce Williams and Donnell Alexander recently finished and published a book Rollin With Dre, which provides an inside look at Dr. Dre's life and the 10 years Williams spent as Dr. Dre's confident. On Sunday (4/13) The two authors, after a book signing at Barnes & Nobel, attended a party at Gordon's On The Green, located at on a city-owned golf course. At the party police say shots were fired at around 2:00 am. "When we first got there, there was panic — people were trying to care
for the wounded, people were trying to get out of there, people were
scared. It wasn't a healthy scene," Tukwila Police Department spokesman said, "It took about 20 minutes to get everything calmed
down."
A 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were taken to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. Over 100 people followed the ambulance to the hospital, and apparently caused a scene. The 24-year-old man was pronounced dead, while the other man remains in critical condition. The police spokesman continued "we don't know if the victims were involved in a fight or if they were ambushed or what. We just don't know yet," adding that a number of witnesses refused to answer police officers questions.
