During this year’s Super Bowl festivities, some of hip hop’s biggest names will be hitting the stage leading up to the big game on February 2. Drake , Diddy, TLC, & J.Cole are all set to play different venues.
It’s all being put on by VH1 and starts the Monday leading up to The Super Bowl, with J.Cole kicking everything off at the Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College. This is all part of Vh1’s “Super Bowl Blitz: Six Nights + Six Concerts.” Other acts set to play throughout the week include Fall Out Boy in Brooklyn, Goo Goo Dolls in Staten Island, and Gavin DeGraw in New Jersey.
The evening of the big game, Drake is set to play a private show for Time Warner‘s Revolt TV. Diddy, the network’s chairman, will host and also perform at the event.
All of the concerts lead up to Bruno Mars playing the halftime show at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Super Bowl Sunday.
