Drake Gets Called Out By UConn After Championship Win

Drake is getting a lot of backlash this week after he publicly displayed support for the Kentucky Wildcats last weekend then last night after the Connecticut Huskies beat UK and won the NCAA championship, Drizzy was alongside them.

The Young Money member decided to put his pride aside and snap a picture with former UConn champ Richard Hamilton after the Huskies huge win.

Longtime Canadian Drake made his allegiance to the University of Kentucky well known on Saturday, when he popped into the Wildcats locker room to celebrate their Final Four victory. Do you doubt Drake’s commitment to the team? He’s been a fan always. Always is forever, you guys. Naturally, the recording artist formerly known as Aubrey Graham was not in the highest of spirits when his beloved Wildcats fell to Connecticut Monday night. Fortunately, UConn alum Rip Hamilton was there to lift his spirits. (USA Today)

The UConn Official Twitter account decided to call out Drake for becoming a bandwagon after there championship win.

 “The UConn Twitter account, which earlier this tournament offered President Barack Obama a spot on the bandwagon after the Huskies beat his national champion pick, Michigan State, in the Elite 8, decided to kick Drake while he was down. “Imma just hand @Drake a business card and say… We Made It “” (College Basketball Talk)
