Brooklyn Nets Arena Mocks Drake At Playoff Game

Posted By on May 3, 2014

Drake was in attendance at last night’s Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets playoff game. You would think everyone’s attention would have been on the game, but all eyes were on Drizzy as the whole Brooklyn arena  clowned him throughout the game.

Not only did the Nets fans get in on the action, but the arena staff was on Drake’s back the entire game.

“The real show features Jay Z and Drake. The lint-rolling Canadian rapper was courtside at the Barclays Center for Game 6 of the series and, sitting at the opposite end of the scorers’ table was Jay Z and Beyonce. It was a perfect opportunity for the Nets to have a little fun at Drake’s expense and they did. Oh, yes, they did. First, the team superimposed a Nets jersey on him when he was shown on the scoreboard. Solid, if rather amateurish, fun. Then the Nets one-upped the score, playing Jay Z’s “Public Service Announcement” as Jay Z and Beyoncé appeared amused.” (Washington Post)

Beyonce and Jay Z were also in attendance and seemed to be enjoying themselves as they watched everyone clown Drake.

“Jay Z and Beyoncé, yet again, sat courtside at Barclays Center Friday night to support the rapper’s favorite basketball team. As Bey, 32, and her 44-year-old husband watched as the Brooklyn Nets took on the Toronto Rappers, the two seemed to be having a really great time–almost to the point where they couldn’t contain their laughter!” (Life & Style Mag)
