As you can see in our weekly album sales post, Drake's debut "Thank Me Later" album took the number one spot with over four hundred and sixty thousand copies sold in the first week. The Young Money star took to his twitter account to thank fans for their support saying "Thank you for the support…thank you for the memories…thank me later," adding "Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending."
Previously Drake talked about the album leaking early, saying he thought he would actually help him with sales. "I always said if I had put out an album that was poor quality and
music that people didn't enjoy, then I think the leaks would hurt me,"
Drake said in a recent interview (view below). "Because a lot of
the feedback has been great. The word of mouth, music is something that
