"Crack A Bottle," the collaboration from Eminem, Dr Dre and 50 Cent, is set to break another record. The new single jumped from 78 to number 1 with a record breaking 418,000 download sales in it's first week. "Crack A Bottle" [listen here] beat out T.I. and Rihanna's "Live Your Life" which previously held the title with 335,000 downloads.
As we reported yesterday, 50 Cent recently said that the song will be on his upcoming album "Before I Self Destruct" [watch here]. "Crack A Bottle" [listen here] is the 2nd number one Billboard Hot 100 song for both Eminem and Dr Dre. Slim Shady had "Lose Yourself" spend 12 weeks at the top spot back in 2002 and the Dre-assisted "No Diggity" from Blackstreet also held the title. The record breaking song marks 50 Cent's forth track to be atop the charts, with 2005's "Candy Shop" holding the spot for 9 weeks.
