Paul Rosenberg, the president at Shady Records, reveals that Eminem is deep into the process of recording his eighth studio album. It has been a little over 2 years since the Shady Records CEO dropped his last studio album, Recovery, which he dropped in 2010. Em initially revealed that he was working on his next album in 2012 and has been hard at work in the lab.
In an interview with Billboard.com, The President of Shady Records, Paul Rosenburg, revealed that Em will release his latest project after Memorial Day, saying that listeners and fans can expect it soon.
“We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He’s been working on it for some time,” said Rosenburg. “It’s safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we’re not exactly sure when. We’ve got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we’re trying to see what else lines up.”
During the interview Rosenburg also revealed that Yelawolf has begun recording his second album in a studio in Nashville, TN, as well revealing that Street King Immortal, 50 Cents’ latest project, would be released mid-2013.
It was in October of 2012 that Eminem hinted that his next album release would be coming in 2012 by wearing a customer Detroit Tigers fitted cap with 2013 on it.
