Eminem will induct the legendary hip hop group Run-D.M.C. into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame next month according to the Associated Press. Reverend Run, DMC and the late Jam Master Jay will only be the second rap to ever earn a spot in the prestigious club, after Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five were previously.
Eminem will officially swear the group in on April 4th at Cleveland's Public Audiorium. Run-D.M.C. is credited as the first major rap groupt crossover into the mainstream with such hits as thier "My Addidas," "Run's House," "King of Rock," "It's Tricky" and of course the track with Aerosmith, "Walk This Way."
In related news, Eminem will release his first solo album in over four years "Relapse" on May 19th. It was also recently reported that Eminem will follow up "Relapse" with a 2nd album before the years over and his artist 50 Cent will also drop two albums this year.
