Eminem Talks Relapse Details, Movie - Listen Now

    Eminem did a rare interview this morning (April 23rd) with Angela Yee on her "Lip Service" show, of course on Eminem's Shade45 Sirius Satellite Radio channel. [listen here] During the interview, Eminem gave many details his new "Relapse" album, his return to movies, his next project and more! [listen here]

    After dropping his "We Made You" [watch here] video, which follows typical Eminem 1st single direction making fun of celebrities, Em says his next single "3 AM" goes in a new direction saying it "is a lot darker than 'We Made You.'" [listen here] Slim Shady made it clear that "the whole album is different from the single." Eminem went on to say the video for "3 AM," which was shot in Detroit, is already done and should be released soon. [listen here]

    When it comes to working on "Relapse" Em said "Dre made a lot of tracks," he explained, [listen here] "and I would get to pick through ’em and I tried to pick the ones that would challenge me rhythm wise. I tried to experiment with a bunch of different flows." [listen here] "I try to do that every album, but this album I actually got an opportunity to sit down, and go all out with, and try to make every flow different and just pick unique beats." [listen here] Eminem finished up the "Relapse" talk by saying that only Dr Dre and 50 Cent are on the 1st album and that the 2nd one is almost done, due out at the end of the year. [listen here]

    Eminem also told Angela Yee that he would work with Lil Wayne and really likes T.I. and Kanye West. Paul Rosenberg, Eminem's longtime manager and business partner, added that Em would be making a cemo in a new movie this summer saying "It’s kind of like a big deal." Eminem went on to say he's open to returning to movies saying "We’re definitely open to scripts and I’m definitely looking to get back into it soon." [listen here]
