While on the set of his new "Fast Lane" music video, the first song from the upcoming Bad Meets Evil "Hell: The Sequel" album, Eminem spoke to MTV reporter Sway about making the transition from being a musical artist, to acting. Speaking about some adice he once got from fellow rapper Ice Cube, Eminem said…
"I think Ice Cube said this one time; I think I heard him say this one time," Em told Sway during their "RapFix Live" interview, which will stream on MTV.com on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET. "If you can rap, if you can perform to the camera for singing and videos, it should be a pretty, fairly natural transition." "I felt like having heard him say that was like, 'Oh, this may be fairly easy' — and it wasn't." (MTV)
Eminem went on to describe the change, sayng it simply is a whole different thing.
"It's a whole different thing, because you may be used to performing to the camera, but it's a whole different ball game when the music is off and you have lines that you need to say. "It takes a minute to get used to." (MTV)
