Eminem will return to the big screen when he makes an appearance in the upcoming "Funny People" movie. Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin) is directing the new film that stars a never ending list of top comedians like Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Jason Schwartzman and even Jonah Hill. Sandler
plays George Simmons, a comedian who learns of his terminal, inoperable
health condition which causes him desire to form a genuine friendship. Sandler takes a relatively green performer (Seth Rogen) under his wing as his opening act.
"No. Marshall Mathers is in it," Apatow said when asked if Eminem was in the film. When asked how it was to direct the "8 Mile"
star, Apatow said "I was scared to pitch jokes to him then I realized
his songs are as nasty as anything that has ever been spoken. There is
no way to offend him."
