Fabolous Talks New Album & Jay-Z Influence

    Fabolous recently sat down to talk about his new album called "Loso's Way" and even revealed the way Jay-Z's "American Gangster" album influenced it. "I think we had some similarities," Fab says in the video. [watch here] Fab continues talking about the film/album's character stating "Carlito was a street dude trying to make the transition from the streets to something better. That's where I felt like I was at in my point in my life of becoming a hip-hop artist and making that transition from the streets to a hip-hip artist."

    Fabolous talks about his new album featuring a track with Jay-Z which got leaked already saying "Actually, it got leaked and it was a version with Jay only rapping on it and it's called, 'When The Money Goes,' [listen here] Fabolous said. [watch here] "Jay had recorded something to it, I guess what you hear on the leak, for American Gangster and I don't think it made the final cut so he had reached out to me, knowing that I was working on this project and knowing the theme of what I was trying to put together and said, 'Yo, I got a record that might fit in to play.' So, when he brought the record to the table it did. I re-vocaled it. Jay is just on the hook as far as that, it was his idea for the hook." [watch here]
