While no official release date has been set for Black Roses, Foxy is said to be putting the finishing touches on the record and she feels that her new management team puts her in position to help her regain her spot as one of the game's premiere emcees.
The Brooklyn-bred rapper is also planning to release a street album as a prelude to her major label release and is planning on a promotional tour to generate buzz for both projects.
"I think Foxy is an incredible talent and one of the fiercest female MC's of all time. Her skills and work ethic are undeniable and she has a determination to succeed that I respect," said Williams. "Her focus is keen, and her music speaks for itself. With the return of her hearing, I think she will have the greatest comeback story since Mimi."
In related news, Fox has been ordered to give a DNA sample to Broward County prosecutors, according to South Florida's Local 10 news. She is being accused of spitting at the owner of a Pembroke Pines beauty supply store.
Foxy recently rejected a plea deal in connection with the case. The rapper will now take her case to trial on September 24 and faces up to a year in jail on the battery charges if found guilty.
