Foxy Brown reportedly turned down a plea deal in Florida courtroom today (May 18) and will be headed to trial this fall to face charges stemming from an icident in a local beauty store in February.
Foxy (born Inga Marchand) was arrested in Florida on (February 15) at the Queen Beauty Supply shop for allegedly throwing hair glue at a store employee. She was also accused of spitting on the store employee and struggling with an officer who wanted to question her about the incident.
According to TMZ, Foxy, who was charged with misdemeanor battery and obstruction of justice from the incident, will face trial on September 24 and could get up to a year in jail on the battery charges if found guilty.
Foxy is currently on probation for assaulting two manicurists in Manhattan's Bloomie Nails in 2004. A judge gave the 27- year-old rapper "one more chance" in March after she pled guilty to violating her probation by leaving New York without permission.
