Grammy officials have made the official announcement that Newcomer Frank Ocean and veteran performer Alicia Keys are officially a part of the Grammy’s performer line up.
Previous announcements had confirmed stars such as Justin Timberlake, the Black Keys, Rihanna, and a host of others will be performing at the 2013 Grammy Awards Show. LL Cool J will be resuming his hosting responsibilities at this year’s show.
This year’s Grammy Awards Show will see one of the most exciting and popular performers to hit the scene in 2012; Frank Ocean will be among those that are performing at this year’s show, which is scheduled to be televised live on Sunday, February 10, 2012. The Grammy Awards officials made the announcements just recently. Also a part of that announcement was Alicia Keys, who is slated to perform alongside Maroon 5.
Frank Ocean hit the scene with a huge splash last year, with his debut album, “Channel Orange”, which has been nominated for six Grammy Awards, including “Best New Artist” and Album of the Year”.
The show will be airing as a live broadcast (which definitely makes it interesting at times) from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA from 8:00 pm – 11:30 pm.
With all of the success and accolades that Frank Ocean has had in his short career, he is rapidly becoming recognized as the kid that is beefing with performer Chris Brown. The two and their respective camps got into a brawl at a recording studio and the cops had to be called out. To this point, no arrest have been made.
