French Montana is the latest rapper to be the target of a drive by shooting. Just weeks after Rick Ross had an attempt on his life via a drive by shooting. Coke Boys lead guy, French Montana, appears to be the target of a drive by shooting that took place near his tour bus outside of the Holiday Inn on Penn’s Landing.
The shooting took place after Montana performed at Pennsylvania’s Theater of the Living Arts.
As a result of the shooting a 27 year old man was struck in the abdomen and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Another person was struck in the shoulder and is currently in stable condition.
Police are currently questioning 25 people concerning the facts surrounding the case; Montana was included in those questioned. Several people were arrested for possession of firearms and it is reported that someone on the bus returned fire after the first shot was fired.
At current, there are no suspects in the shooting.
“It’s just ignorant. You fire into a crowd and you’re gonna hit somebody. In this case, unfortunately, someone was killed. Don’t know if they had anything to do with anything, if they were a fan or what,” said Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey. “When you find people like that, they should just never see the light of day again. I mean that kind of behavior’s just unacceptable. For me, there’s just no rehabilitation for anything like that,”
