G-Unit Clothing NOT Shutting Down, Maybe Looking For New Partner

{mosimage}Rumors have been going around that G-Unit Clothing maybe shutting down. Rep's for the company denied the reports of the shut down but reports are stating that layoffs at the company could come as early as next week. A source close to the company said "They aren’t shutting down," "They may be leaving their partner, but the G-Unit brand is a base business of $75 million dollars annually."

The Wall Street Journal stated that the G-Unit brand accounts for 15% of Marc Ecko Enterprises annual revenue, while sales of the G-Unit brand grew almost 30 % last year. 50 Cent started the G-Unit clothing company was started back in 04 with Mark Ecko Enterprises. Ecko has over 40 retails stores and earns over $1.2 billion dollars in annual revenue, owning the Zoo York and Avirex Clothing lines plus Complex Magazine and Marc Ecko Entertainment.
